Experience Okinawa from the ocean! You’ll have the sun overhead, the wind on your back, and be sailing over crystal clear waters and coral reef on Tom’s hand built 21 foot, all wooden Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe. If you’re lucky, you might spot a sea turtle or even catch a fish on the lure we drag behind the canoe.
Sailing time can range from one hour to several hours, depending on how much you’re enjoying yourself. The base price for up to two passengers is ¥11,000 for an initial 60 minute sailing session. In one hour with a good wind, we may cover 10km (6.25 miles) or more in distance sailed.
Tom’s canoe can accommodate up to 2 adults or 2 adults and a small child or 1 adult and 2 school age kids. The total weight of passengers must not exceed 170kg ( 375 lb). Charter fees are based on 1 – 2 passengers.
For groups of up to 4 passengers, sailing time can be split between 2 groups of 2 passengers. ¥11,000 for the first hour, and ¥3,000 per additional 30 minutes. (Any part thereof.)
All sailing bookings are subject to cancellation if sea and weather conditions deem it necessary.
